There is definatley no shortage of dating advice out there. It seems as though dating in general has become quite the hot topic of late. It is a subject that has become much more open and acceptable to talk about and experiment with. You can do a quick search for dating advice on the Internet and get so many results that you don't even know where to begin. Even television has long since jumped on the dating advice bandwagon, the hottest host might be Sue Johannsen, but even Dr.Phil dishes it out every now and then, remember MTVs Love Line? We even tuned in there to hear what dating tips Dr. Drew and Adam ( a comedian) could give us.

Decide for yourself

Could it be that we have become so convinced that our own judgment is so lacking that we constantly need to be told the obvious by paid dating rules professionals and nosy lay-people? What happened to self-confidence and doing your best to be yourself? Maybe, just maybe, we really don't need as much dating advice as we think. Too often people seek dating advice not to improve themselves but rather to be more like what they think a prospective mate will want them to be. Although none of us can go around doing and saying whatever it is that comes into our head, neither can we totally change ourselves to be a mold of what we imagine to be desirable.

Take our dating advice and find a way to meet that special someone today.

When any of us try and adopt characteristics that do not come naturally to us, the less chance we have for overall happiness, let alone happiness with a mate who really doesn't know us very well. If we go around feigning qualities that we, in really, do not possess, we will in turn attract people who are actually not good matches for us at all.

The bottom line is that we are not idiots and as adults we can navigate through the dating scene with very little help from others. We do know how to practice self restraint and we shouldn't care so much about whether someone will like us or not- we certainly shouldn't go around trying to get them to like us. Here's a dating tip- don't just be yourself, trust your own judgement too!
